Abstract The hierarchical design approach provides various opportunities to adjust the structural performance of polymer materials. Electrospinning processing techniques give access molecular orientation as a parameter, which we consider here in view shape-memory actuation performance. aim this work is investigate how reversible strain $$\varepsilon^{\prime}_{{{\text{rev}}}}$$ ε rev ′ can be affected by morphology change from bulk material an electrospun mesh. could increased 5.5 ± 0.5% 15 1.8% for blend multiblock copolymer with poly( ε -caprolactone) (PCL) and L -lactide) (PLLA) segments oligo( D (ODLA). This study demonstrates effective enhancing soft actuator performance, broadly applied robotics medicine. Graphic abstract
